Description

The process of science is complex, non-linear (it contains cycles and loops), and does not follow a single prescribed path. At times it can be very messy! One important feature of science is that it is an ongoing process. Before embarking on your own full-fledged scientific investigations, this class will offer you some important considerations to keep in mind when designing your experiments.

This will be a two part session:

Part 1: October 9, 12-2pm, LKS 136

Part 2: October 16, 1-3pm, LKS 241

Organized by

The Research Training Centre (RTC) is part of the larger Research Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital, which is comprised of the Keenan Research Centre for Basic Science (KRCBS) and the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute (LKSKI). The RTC seeks to provide a stimulating research training program and to create a nationally and internationally recognized training environment for future scientists.Contact us at rtc@smh.ca.
